  • Contribute to junior connected courses including robotics and support a creative junior curriculum.
  • Support and participate in staff development as part of WEGC.

Overview

Role

Teacher of science and chemistry. Full time, Permanent. Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacher. Science.

Responsibilities
  • Teach senior chemistry to Y12 and Y13 with knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and NCEA.
  • Deliver inspiring lessons, enrich the curriculum with knowledge and experience, and foster success in every student.
  • Work with the Science Learning Area team to maintain high-quality, consistent teaching across levels.
  • Contribute to junior connected courses including robotics and Te Whare Whakapakari; support a creative junior curriculum.
  • Support and participate in the induction program and staff development as part of WEGC.
