Science

We are a Catholic, state-integrated, co-educational college for Y7–13, founded in the Marist tradition.

We are seeking a dedicated and professional teacher of science. The applicant should have both a commitment and an ability to teach science in Y7-11. The ability to teach Y12-13 science, though not essential, may be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Teach science to students in Years 7–11, with the ability to teach Years 12–13 considered advantageous.
Position Details
  • Full-time, permanent position commencing in term 1, 2026.
  • Additional leadership opportunities for 2026, including a Year Level Dean role, may be available for suitably qualified applicants.
Qualifications
  • Certificated teacher with current teacher registration.
  • Commitment and ability to teach science to Years 7–11; ability to teach Years 12–13 is advantageous.
Salary, Terms, and Benefits
  • The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position are set by the relevant collective agreement.
  • The base salary in 2026 for trained and registered teachers will range from $61,329 to $103,086, depending on the applicant’s qualifications and experience. Individual’s actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
