Whangārei Boys’ High School is seeking a passionate and dynamic ESOL teacher to join our dedicated team.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position for the 2026 school year. The ideal candidate will need to be student focused and able to work collaboratively as part of a strong and cohesive languages faculty.

Applicants should be well qualified and highly motivated, with a commitment to high standards of achievement in a progressive boys' school environment. A strong commitment to restorative practices and culturally responsive and relational teaching approaches is essential.

Annual remuneration is dependent on qualifications and experience and will range from $61,239 to $103,086 in accordance with the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement (STCA). Individuals’ actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
