We are seeking to appoint a talented and motivated English teacher to teach in our middle (7-10) and senior (11–13) schools. This is a full-time, permanent appointment commencing January 2026.

It is a co-educational, IB World School in Wellington, New Zealand and comprises three schools in one; Junior (1-6), middle (7-10) and senior (11-13). Scots is a dual pathway school offering both NCEA and IB Diploma to senior students. At Y11 we offer the Tohu, a tailor made, future focused award, and at Y7-10 the Middle Years Programme. Experience teaching MYP would be advantageous, but training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Role overview

In addition to delivering engaging English lessons to students in the middle and senior years, the successful candidate will contribute to the school’s co-curricular programmes and support the College’s aims of international mindedness and student wellbeing.
