Overview

King’s College, an independent Anglican secondary co-educational boarding and day school in Ōtāhuhu, Auckland, is seeking an enthusiastic and committed biology teacher to join our well-led, collaborative department. About the role

The successful applicant will teach biology across both NCEA and CIE pathways at secondary level. You will be part of a department that prioritises academic excellence, while fostering curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in students. At King’s, teachers are also expected to contribute to the wider life of the College through involvement in co-curricular activities and support for our strong pastoral care programmes.

What we’re looking for
  • A tertiary qualification in biology (Bachelor’s or higher)
  • A recognised teaching diploma and current registration with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand
  • Legal eligibility to work in New Zealand
  • A collaborative and positive approach to teaching and learning
  • Ability (or willingness) to teach both NCEA and CIE biology
  • Commitment to pastoral care, student wellbeing, and the College ethos.
