Long Bay College is a co-educational secondary school located in a peaceful location near Long Bay Beach and the new Long Bay Village. The school opened in 1975 and has approximately 1900 students with 160 teaching and support staff combined.

We are seeking an outstanding leader to join our Mathematics Faculty in a permanent, full-time role commencing term 1, 2026.

Supported by our Head of Faculty and Assistant Head of Faculty, this position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-performing team committed to academic excellence, collective growth, and a culture of care.

As part of our Faculty Leadership Team, our teacher-in-charge of statistics will play a key role in delivering a consistent, high-quality senior programme.

You will support strong collective practice and help drive high academic achievement across the faculty.

The terms and conditions, including base salary and hours of work, for this position is set by the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $61,329 to $103,086 depending on applicant's qualifications and experience. An individuals actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
