We are seeking an inspiring, empathetic and passionate teacher starting term 1, week one in 2026 to join us at the Taranaki Activity Centre (TAC).

The Taranaki Activity Centre is an educational space for secondary school students who are not currently attending mainstream.

All students are Y9-11 and require support with their learning, wellbeing and social/behavioral needs.

Our teacher provides both academic learning support and pastoral care to students. The successful candidate will join a highly collaborative, supportive team who value collegiality.

This position would suit experienced primary or secondary trained teachers with experience in providing pastoral care to students.

(Please note : Taranaki Activity Centre staff are employees of Spotswood College New Plymouth as the managing school).
