Job summary

ACG Strathallan Early Learning School seeks a qualified NZ registered ECE teacher to join our passionate team in Karaka, Auckland. The role is permanent and full‑time, offering mentorship, teaching in a well‑resourced environment, and opportunities for professional development.

You will support infants and toddlers with a holistic, inquiry‑based curriculum and strong family partnerships. We value collaborative teamwork, reflective practice, and a calm, nurturing approach to early childhood

Qualifications

At our Earling Learning School in Karaka, Auckland, we welcome children from 3 months to 5 years. Our Early Learning School is a warm and inspiring childcare environment in which to learn, and our passionate and experienced childcare professionals understand the importance of creating a structured foundation to help our young learners develop into confident individuals.

Our teachers place an emphasis on nurturing language development and social relationships, with every child receiving the personalised support they need to thrive and prepare them for the next stage of their education.

We are looking for a qualified, NZ registered ECE teacher to join ACG Strathallan Early Learning School for a permanent, full-time position.

You will need to be calm, respectful, motivated, passionate and be able to work as part of the team. The School is well resourced and you will be provided with non-contact time, Professional Learning & Development and Teacher Registration Mentoring. You will be teaching in a beautiful environment and with an amazing team of teachers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Teach early childhood learning, ensuring you create an engaging learning environment.
  • Cater to the varied learning needs and abilities of the children.
  • Develop excellent relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.
  • Play based learning environment with a focus on transition to school.
  • Participate in wider school activities.
  • Ensure children's welfare and safety in every moment.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
  • Experience in planning and delivering early childhood educational programs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with parents, colleagues, and leadership.
  • Ability to reflect, evaluate, and adapt teaching practices based on observations and assessments.
  • Experience in using digital technology for documentation and parent communication.
  • NZ Teacher registration with supporting teaching qualifications (BA and/or MBA).
