Central Southland College is seeking a flexible, dynamic and vision orientated teacher to join our team.

Based in our Agriculture Department, we have a vacancy that could be up to full time when combined with other subjects. Please state other areas of expertise or interest and in particular, any senior specialist areas.

In 2024, after several years of research and planning, we launched our innovative and progressive semester-based curriculum structure, designed to inspire students to become passionate about their learning. Our focus is on promoting engagement and meaningful learning through contextualised courses and allowing students greater choice and agency over the subjects they choose.

Our school is driven by a focus on genuine student and whānau connection and a desire to explore new learning opportunities as we guide our ākonga through Years 9 to 13. Nearly all of our teaching staff are Whānau Teachers who contribute to our pastoral system by looking after the well-being of students and building a sense of whanaungatanga.
