Fixed term role | Potential Permanent Role | Start ASAP

Our client is an Auckland coeducational secondary school seeking a NZ registered Te Reo Māori teacher for a flexible full-time or part-time position, starting as soon as possible.

The successful applicant will be employed under the terms of the Secondary Teachers’ Collective Agreement.

Applicants must hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Te Reo Māori or demonstrate significant expertise in Te Reo Māori, and be confident teaching at senior levels (Years 11–13). The school is open to tailoring the role based on the strengths and availability of the successful candidate, with opportunities to contribute to junior levels and broader cultural initiatives.

We are looking for committed, collaborative teachers passionate about advancing Te Reo Māori in education. The school supports career development, including leadership pathways in Māori education. While experience is preferred, applications from outstanding early career teachers are also encouraged.

The school is dedicated to upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi and fostering confident, principled learners through equitable education.

At Oasis Education, we pride ourselves on providing excellent service, support, and follow-up to schools and teachers. Our mission is to contribute positively to the future of education both in New Zealand and internationally.
