Job summary

Deloitte New Zealand's Tax team in Hamilton is seeking an experienced Manager or Associate Director to lead and develop a high-performing tax team. You will manage client portfolios across SME and corporate tax matters, driving delivery of compliant and strategic tax outcomes.

With strong tax technical skills and a hands-on leadership style, you will set direction, deliver exceptional client service and contribute to the growth of the Hamilton practice in a dynamic Waikato environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in tax compliance and advisory environment.
• Accounting qualification and NZ tax knowledge.
• Strong leadership and client-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of SME and corporate tax work.
• Advise on a wide range of business tax matters from compliance to planning.
• Lead and develop team members to deliver high performance.
• Ensure timely delivery of tax obligations and statutory deadlines.
