Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the tax division and mentor a growing team of advisors
  • Provide high-level tax advice across a wide range of matters including structuring, international tax, property, trusts, and business sales/acquisitions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients across various industries
  • Stay ahead of changes in New Zealand tax legislation and ensure technical accuracy in all work
  • Actively contribute to firm strategy, culture, and business development initiatives
What You’ll Bring
  • CA qualified with 10+ years’ experience in New Zealand public practice
  • Specialist tax expertise, with a proven record in delivering complex tax advice
  • Experience managing, mentoring, and growing tax teams
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to translate technical detail into strategic value
  • High-level communication and client relationship skills
  • Familiarity with tax advisory tools and software (e.g., CCH, APS, Xero)
