Qualifications

  • Possess a relevant qualification in electrical or similar fields.
  • Willingness to obtain a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Job description

  • Continuing, Full-Time (36.25 hours per week, with potential for overtime)
  • School of Trades
  • CQUniversity Gladstone* (Relocation support available)
  • Total Remuneration $120,134 to $133,098 pa (including salary of $101,515 to $112,470 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)
  • Progression beyond Teacher Step 4 will only occur if an approved teaching qualification has been obtained

Position Requirements

  • Possession of a relevant qualification in electrical, instrumentation, engineering, or similar.
  • Willingness to obtain a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or TAE 40116), if not already completed.
  • Knowledge of the education and training sector and the ability to positively respond to new directions and demands of the training market.
  • Demonstrated current industry skills directly relevant to the training/assessment being delivered.
  • Possession of or able to obtain an Electrical Licence (QLD).
