Job summary

Virtuoso, Albany, Auckland, is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design and deploy modern cloud solutions for customers. You will work hands-on with Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and infrastructure, translating requirements into practical designs.

You’ll collaborate with customers and internal teams, support production environments, and contribute to improving documentation and delivery processes while shaping how technology is delivered to clients.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft 365 and modern workplace technologies.
• Experience with Azure or cloud infrastructure platforms.
• Strong networking knowledge.
• Experience supporting production environments.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to understand requirements and recommend the best technical solutions.

• Provide technical input during pre-sales discussions and solution planning.
• Support engineers with complex troubleshooting and escalations.

• Collaborate closely with Tech Support, Technology Success, Centralised Services, and Professional Services teams.
• Help improve documentation, standards, and delivery processes.

We’re looking for a Cloud Engineer who enjoys solving real customer problems with modern cloud technology. In this role you’ll help organisations design, deploy, and improve their Microsoft cloud and Azure environments. You’ll work closely with customers and internal teams to translate technical requirements into practical solutions across Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and modern workplace platforms. This is a great opportunity for a senior engineer who enjoys both hands-on technical work and solution design, and wants to play a bigger role in shaping how technology is delivered to customers.

The role
