Job description

Role: Systems Administrator

Location: Wellington

Contract Length: Until June 2025 (high chance of extension)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid - Minimum 3 days in office

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join a critical project focused on remediating and optimizing a key payroll system. This role involves hands-on configuration of a TechnologyOne platform, addressing system compliance issues, and ensuring the long-term efficiency of payroll operations. You'll work with a dedicated team to deliver system improvements that enhance payroll accuracy and streamline business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and optimize the TechnologyOne payroll system to meet compliance requirements.
  • Remediate existing issues within the system, including areas related to leave management and other payroll processes.
  • Ensure long-term payroll efficiency by implementing best practices and improving system performance.
  • Apply standard system administration practices such as managing releases, performing updates, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Top 3 Required Skills

  • Proven experience with TechnologyOne payroll systems, including hands-on configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to configure payroll systems for compliance and performance optimization.
  • Solid understanding of standard system administration practices, including release management, software updates, and issue resolution.
