Job summary

Landpro Limited seeks a Survey Technician to support our surveying projects in Cromwell or Wanaka, Otago. You will help collect and analyse data, producing reliable information for clients; the work spans field and office settings in a permanent, full-time role.

You will work with senior surveyors, use surveying equipment and software, maintain instruments, and prioritise health and safety while delivering high-quality results.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in surveying or recognised qualification in survey or related field.
  • Proven experience in a surveying role, preferably in a consultancy environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in using surveying software and equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and execution of surveying projects, including fieldwork and data collection.
  • Utilise surveying equipment and software to gather accurate measurements and data.
  • Analyse survey data and prepare detailed reports for clients and project managers.
  • Collaborate with senior surveyors and other team members to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Maintain and calibrate surveying instruments to ensure precision and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all surveying activities.
