About the Role

As a Support Worker, you’ll be helping people to join in community activities and events, drive people to appointments and catch-ups, as well as supporting people with their personal care and household jobs. Knowing you’re making a positive impact in someone’s life can truly have the same effect on your own.

We have a variety of positions available working a range of shifts and hours including weekends.

• Your hourly rate will be $25.37 to $31.13 an hour, dependent upon your qualifications as recognised under the Care and Support Workers (Pay Equity) Settlement Act 2017.
• Sleepovers (10.00 PM to 7.00 AM) are paid at the adult minimum wage rate.

Live Life Disability Support (LLDS) provide support to people who have disabilities to live great lives in the Nelson Marlborough community. We support people to manage their day-to-day lives in ways and at times that work for them. The people we support have a wide range of abilities, gifts and challenges. About you

Applicants must have a full NZ Driver’s License and be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.

Appointment and ongoing employment will be conditional upon criminal record/police checks - you must declare any convictions and/or pending charges on your application form. This will include checks under the Children Act 2014.
