About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will be helping people to join in community activities and events, drive people to appointments and catch-ups, as well as supporting people with their personal care and household jobs. Knowing you're making a positive impact in someone's life can truly have the same effect on your own.
We have a variety of positions available working a range of shifts and hours including weekends.

You can work in the way that works best for you - whether that's full-time or part-time, or morning, afternoon/evening, overnight or casual shifts. You'll be supported to achieve your Levels 2, 3 and 4 Health and Wellbeing Certificate.
About the Team/Service/Location
Live Life Disability Support (LLDS) provides support to people who have disabilities to live great lives in the Nelson Marlborough community.
We support people to manage their day-to-day lives in ways and at times that work for them. The people we support have a wide range of abilities, gifts, and challenges. We actively encourage people to pursue their dreams and try out new experiences, and no two days working at Live Life DSS are ever the same.
Our main locations are Nelson and Wairau, and we are spread across the region, servicing all parts of the community. Our work can be challenging, but we are up for it. We have a great team and work hard to make a difference.

About You
Applicants must have a full NZ Driver's License and be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
Appointment and ongoing employment will be conditional upon criminal record/police checks - you must declare any convictions and/or pending charges on your application form. This will include checks under the Children Act 2014.
