About the Role
As a Support Worker, you’ll behelping people to join in community activities and events, drive people toappointments and catch-ups, as well as supporting people with their personalcare and household jobs. Knowing you’re making a positive impact in someone’slife can truly have the same effect on your own.
We have avariety of positions available working a range of shifts and hours includingweekends.

You canwork in the way that works best for you - whether that’s full-time orpart-time, or morning, afternoon/evening, overnight or casual shifts. You’ll besupported to achieve your Levels 2, 3 and 4 Health and WellbeingCertificate.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Live LifeDisability Support (LLDS) provide support to people who have disabilities tolive great lives in the Nelson Marlborough community.
We supportpeople to manage their day to day lives in ways and at times that work forthem. The people we support have a wide range of abilities, gifts andchallenges.We actively encourage people to pursue their dreams and tryout new experiences, and can guarantee that no two days working at Live LifeDSS are ever the same.
Our mainlocations are Nelson and Wairau Hospitals, but we are spread across the regionand service all parts of the community. Our work can be challenging, but we areup for it. We have a great team and we work hard to make a difference.

About you
Applicants must have a full NZ Drivers License and be eligible to workin New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
Appointment and ongoing employment will be conditional upon criminalrecord/police checks - you must declare any convictions and/or pending chargeson your application form. This will include checks under the Children Act 2014.
