Job summary

Access Community Health is seeking support workers to assist people in their own homes across Canterbury. You will help with daily living activities, provide person-centered care, and respect individual culture and routines.

No qualifications or prior experience are required. Training is provided; weekend shifts are available with a top-up allowance, and travel time & mileage are paid. Flexible hours support work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Support tāngata with their daily living activities and care needs in clients’ homes.
• Provide safe, respectful, person-centered support, mindful of each person’s culture, values, routines and boundaries.
• Assist with everyday tasks and daily living activities as guided by care plans.
