A community service organization in Christchurch seeks a dedicated Support Coordinator to provide 1:1 support for a young lady with complex needs. This full-time role includes assisting with daily routines, promoting independence, and maintaining a personalized care approach. The ideal candidate will be energetic and empathetic, committed to enriching the lives of those supported. A NZ full driver's license is required.

We're introducing a new service and are looking for a dedicated team to help set it up for success. We're seeking one more individual on a full-time basis to provide meaningful support to a young lady with complex needs.
She requires 1:1 support and enjoys music, swimming, spending time outdoors, and being active in the community.
You will be energetic, empathetic and able to work alongside this person, focusing on creating a life of rich and diverse experiences while being able to read situations, problem solve and apply boundaries or offer space. Daily tasks include supporting with daily routines while encouraging independence to develop skills and personal growth. You will have the confidence to support personal cares, cooking, medication administration, and household tasks. You will be passionate about supporting and extending people’s ability to access and be part of their wider community.
This position's salary scale is set by pay equity and dependent on qualification level, pays between $23.50 and $29.10 per hour.
