A leading support services provider in New Zealand is seeking a Support Worker to assist individuals with daily living skills. The ideal candidate will have no prior experience, but a willingness to learn and work flexible shifts is essential. Training and support towards relevant qualifications are provided. Support Worker responsibilities include assisting individuals to develop independence and skills for daily living. This includes helping with public transportation, employment, finances, and meal preparation. Depending on the work environment, Support Workers may also assist with shopping, cleaning, showering, and medication administration.
No prior experience in the health and disability sector is necessary, but a strong desire to pursue a career as a Support Worker with a positive attitude is highly valued. Full training and orientation will be provided to individuals who demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
