Job description

Access Community Health | Uru Ātea is a leading provider of home-based healthcare and support services in New Zealand. We have a team of 4,000 dedicated professionals, including nurses and Kaiāwhina | Support Workers, serving over 20,000 individuals across the country. As a Support Worker, you will support individuals with high-risk care needs in daily living activities, including:

  1. Palliative care
  2. Spinal injury support
  3. Mental health support
  4. Medication administration
Mōhou Ake | About You
  • Hold a Level 2, 3, or 4 Health and Wellbeing Certificate recognized in NZ
  • Experience with spinal injury care and stoma management
  • Skilled in using full, standing, and two-person hoists
  • Experience administering prescribed medication
  • Understanding and respect for the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and a bi-cultural approach
  • Full or restricted driver’s license
  • Availability to work various shifts
