🕒 Hours of Work: Flexible – dependent on individual client requirements.

About the Role

As a Home Support Worker with Radius Care, you’ll play a vital role in helping our clients live independently, safely, and comfortably in their own homes. Your compassionate care and support will enhance their quality of life and overall wellbeing.

You’ll assist with a range of daily living activities, including:

  • Personal Care: Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
  • Mobility Support: Safe transfers and use of mobility aids
  • Household Assistance: Light housekeeping, meal prep, feeding
  • Emotional Support: Companionship and meaningful engagement
  • Community Engagement: Accompanying clients to appointments or social activities
  • Medication Management & Health Monitoring: As prescribed by healthcare professionals

Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 6 months’ experience as a Support Worker
  • Experience with brain and spinal injury clients preferred
  • Health & Wellbeing Level 3 or 4 preferred
  • Additional certifications (e.g. Brain Injury Support, Pressure Injury Management) are a plus
  • Strong communication skills and empathy
  • Full or restricted NZ driver’s licence and reliable transport
  • Availability for weekend/evening shifts if required
  • Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand
