Job summary

IDEA Services, part of IHC New Zealand, is hiring a Support Worker in Manawatū-Whanganui. You will assist people to live independent lives across 24/7 services, with daytime, evening, overnight and weekend shifts.

No prior health sector experience is required; full training is provided. You’ll help with meals, personal care, transport, and medication support, using computers and tablets, and you must hold a full NZ driver's license.

Qualifications

• No prior health and disability sector experience required; training provided.
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn are highly valued.
• Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleepovers.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation, shopping and household tasks.
• Personal care, transportation and medication administration as required.
• Use computers/tablets daily and maintain accurate records.
