Pathways is recruiting a permanent, full-time Support Worker based in Thames to assist people with mental health and addiction challenges in the community. You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in a supportive, inclusive environment.

You will support clients with goal setting, access to culturally safe services, and advocacy, while engaging in teamwork and thorough record-keeping. A driver licence, first aid, and NZ health qualification are required or in progress.

Competenze

• Hold a current, full New Zealand Driver Licence.
• Hold a current first aid certificate, or be willing to obtain one.
• Hold the Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (or a recognised equivalent) or be willing to begin working towards this qualification within six months of joining us. The qualification must be completed within two years of commencement, and we provide significant support to help our kaimahi achieve it.
• Show initiative and a willingness to go the extra mile.
• Demonstrate knowledge of, and a clear commitment to, Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
