Job summary

Monaco Corporation is seeking a Supply Chain Officer to join our Northshore team in a hands-on role coordinating purchasing, inventory and inbound shipments. You will work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents and internal teams to ensure on-time deliveries and clear visibility of inventory and schedules.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing or a similar role
  • Experience in logistics, freight, importing or inventory management
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably Infor M3
  • Understanding of New Zealand Customs regulations and MPI biosecurity requirements
  • Finance, landed cost or Letter of Credit experience advantageous
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate purchasing, inventory and inbound shipments from order placement through receipt
  • Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents and warehouses to ensure timely delivery
  • Create and maintain shipments in the ERP system with accurate quantities and documentation
  • Monitor shipment status, ETAs, delays and bottlenecks, escalate issues as needed
  • Maintain shipment trackers, reports and shipping schedules for management
  • Support NZ Customs and MPI requirements and BOM activities

Job description

Monaco Corporation is looking for an organised and proactive Supply Chain Officer to join our Northshore team. We have a strong work culture where hard work, collaboration and having fun go hand in hand.

As a Supply Chain Officer, you will support the end-to-end coordination of purchasing, inventory, inbound shipments and logistics. Working closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, warehouses and internal teams, you will ensure orders are accurately tracked, shipments arrive on time and key stakeholders have clear visibility of inventory and delivery schedules.

This is a hands‑on role where you will take ownership of your workload, manage multiple priorities and contribute to improving the efficiency of our supply chain operations.

The role

The key areas of responsibility include:

Coordinate purchasing, inventory and inbound shipments from order placement through to receipt

Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, freight forwarders, customs agents and warehouses to ensure timely delivery

Create and maintain shipments in the ERP system, ensuring quantities, values and documentation are accurate

Monitor shipment status, ETAs, delays and bottlenecks, proactively following up and escalating issues where required

Coordinate purchase orders, stock movements, local deliveries and warehouse stock‑in activities

Verify freight forwarding invoices and maintain accurate landed cost information

Maintain shipment trackers, reports and shipping schedules and provide updates to management and internal stakeholders

Manage relevant import and Letter of Credit documentation and support NZ Customs and MPI requirements

Support BOM activities including SKU manufacturing, kit builds and component adjustments

Maintain accurate ERP records, data entry and shipment documentation

Contribute to shipping procedures, process improvements and supply chain initiatives

Provide general operational support across freight, warehousing and supply chain activities as required

To stand out from the crowd, you will need to show us that you have:

2+ years' experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing or a similar role

Experience in logistics, freight, importing or inventory management

Experience with ERP systems, preferably Infor M3

A solid understanding of New Zealand Customs regulations and MPI biosecurity requirements

Finance, landed cost or Letter of Credit experience will be advantageous

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

A proactive, solutions‑focused and team‑oriented approach

Strong computer and data‑entry skills

The ability to build effective relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, freight forwarders, customs agents, warehouses and internal stakeholders

The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
