Job summary

Dawn Aerospace in Christchurch, New Zealand, is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to ensure materials flow smoothly across suppliers, engineering and manufacturing. You’ll raise POs, track materials, and maintain accurate records to support fast, on‑time production Build schedules.

You’ll work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to understand material requirements, manage serial numbers and revisions, and drive improvements in ERP/MRP data quality and workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in supply chain, logistics, procurement, inventory control, warehousing, or manufacturing support.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems and strong Excel/data management skills.
• Ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Raise and manage purchase orders for materials, components, and services.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and accurate records.
• Track incoming/outgoing materials and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Support on serialisation, cycle counts, and material preparation for production builds.
• Communicate with suppliers about orders, delivery schedules, and issues.
• Work with Engineering/Manufacturing to understand material requirements and priorities.
• Identify supply risks and help drive actions to completion.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement, inventory, and logistics processes.
