Job summary

Dawn Aerospace is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator in Christchurch to keep materials flowing across Procurement, Inventory, and Manufacturing. You will raise purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure data accuracy in ERP/MRP systems, while collaborating with Engineering and Finance to keep schedules on track.

The role emphasizes supplier coordination, stock accuracy, and continuous improvement in procurement processes within a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, inventory control, warehousing, or manufacturing support.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organisation skills and follow-through.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems, or the ability to learn quickly.
• Strong Excel and data management skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Confidence identifying issues, escalating risks, and driving actions to completion.
• Understanding of procurement, inventory management, and logistics workflows.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Procurement Execution: Raise and manage purchase orders, follow up with suppliers, maintain records in ERP/MRP, and align with Finance.
• Inventory & Materials Control: Track materials, support stock control, serialisation, and production preparation.
• Supplier Coordination: Communicate order status, identify risks, and onboard approved suppliers.
• Engineering & Manufacturing Support: Understand material requirements, manage serial numbers, and resolve material availability issues.
• Continuous Improvement: Improve procurement, inventory, and logistics processes; boost data quality and workflow efficiency.
