The Christchurch City council Parks team are excited to be growing, and we want you to be part of our Whānau. As a Supervisor you will be leading one of our Parks and Gardens Maintenance Team, based out of the Hornby Depot, who are responsible for delivering a wide range of parks maintenance activities across our community parks.
Working within the community you will be exposed to the diverse cultures and beliefs that are within Christchurch, this involves being open minded and respectful to all that visit these special places.

As the Supervisor you will be providing leadership and day to day support for the operational delivery of parks maintenance, and development activities for the City. You'll be responsible for coordinating the team(s) daily activities to ensure a high standard of service is provided for the citizens and visitors to Christchurch by:

Hours of work - 40 hours per week
Position - Permanent Full-time
Location- This position is primarily based at Cable Street Depot Hornby
Salary-The salary band for this position goes from$81,227 to$90,252 per annum based on a 40 hour week. Starting salaries will be based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, and relativities both, within the immediate team and in the broader organisation for the same or similar roles.
