Job summary

Aurecon Group in Wellington is offering a 12-week summer Internship Program for students in Civil/Environmental engineering and related fields. You will gain exposure to transport planning, data analysis, and advisory work while contributing to real projects under expert guidance.

You’ll work with multidisciplinary teams across Asia Pacific, participate in our Intern Learning Series, and explore pathways into our Graduate Program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing studies in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning, Geography, Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
• Interest in how people and goods move through cities and communities.
• Available for 12 weeks full-time from mid-November 2026 to February 2027 (with Christmas/New Year break).

Responsibilities

• Work with data and analysis to understand transport movement.
• Gain exposure to transport planning, network analysis, traffic modelling and integrated transport solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Asia Pacific.
• Build your network through Limelight, the early careers community.
• Learn from experienced industry leaders and technical experts.
