Job summary

Kaiteriteri is seeking friendly, confident Rangers for the busy summer season in Kaiteriteri, New Zealand. The role focuses on keeping the campground and Reserve safe, welcoming, and enjoyable, with evening shifts from around 4:00 pm to 1:00 am and a minimum of 30 hours per week from mid-December 2026 to early February 2027.

You will work with an experienced Ranger team, respond to after-hours issues, help guests, and ensure rules are applied consistently and professionally.

Qualifications

• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests and visitors and respond to after-hours issues and call-outs.
• Maintain visible Ranger presence across the Reserve.
• Identify and report potential problems and ensure campground rules are applied fairly.
• Support after-hours emergency response arrangements and participate in team activities.
• Complete pre-employment drug and alcohol test as required.
