Job summary

Verified Lab Services (VLS) is seeking Data Entry & Programme Support Assistants to help process pest monitoring results for the kiwifruit industry. The role is primarily computer-based, fast-paced, high-volume, requiring accuracy and attention to detail, with full training provided.

You'll enter results into our database, check information, progress completed results for approval, identify errors, and support the Field Operations team during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Confidence using computers and learning new systems.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to process a high volume of information while maintaining focus.
• Confidence completing structured and repetitive computer-based tasks.
• Reliable and organised approach to work.
• Ability to work well as part of a busy team.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week, including one weekend day, from 6 January until approximately mid-February.

Responsibilities

• Enter pest monitoring results accurately into database
• Check information for accuracy and completeness
• Progress completed results for approval
• Identify errors or unusual information and escalate to the appropriate team member
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date programme records
• Support the wider Field Operations team during busy periods
