Job summary

Downer is seeking a Bid Submissions Coordinator to join our New Zealand Water Services team and help develop high quality bids and expressions of interest. You will coordinate tenders, expressions of interest and other submissions, working with operational and commercial teams from planning through to handover.

Based in Albany or Christchurch, you will collaborate with internal teams, clients and suppliers, manage deadlines and ensure submissions meet required standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in bids, submissions or a similar role.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Experience in the water utilities sector is highly regarded.
• Knowledge of New Zealand civil contract documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tenders, expressions of interest and other submissions from planning to handover.
• Collaborate with operational and commercial teams to ensure bid quality and compliance.
• Manage competing priorities and tender deadlines.
• Liaise with internal teams, clients, consultants and suppliers as needed.

You will coordinate tenders, expressions of interest and other submissions, working closely with operational and commercial teams from opportunity planning through to handover.

We are open to this role being based in Albany or Christchurch and invite individuals based in either location to apply.

What we're looking for

• At least two years' experience in bids, submissions or a similar role
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Experience in the water utilities sector is highly regarded
