Massey University, Wellington Campus, invites applications for a Student Wellbeing Advisor within the University-wide Student Care Team. This permanent 0.8 FTE role combines student case management, wellbeing advice, staff capability building, education and health promotion to foster a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified and registered professional in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology or Mental Health Nursing.
• Minimum two years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong assessment, communication and decision-making skills.
• Collaborative, culturally responsive and student-centred approach.
• Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and diverse communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist wellbeing advice to students and staff.
• Offer case management and wellbeing support across campus networks.
• Contribute to a holistic wellbeing framework for student success and retention.
