Job summary

Samuel Marsden Collegiate School seeks a Future Pathways Advisor to guide students in Years 10–13 on study and career opportunities and to support pathways planning across Years 7–13. The role requires a passion for helping young people, strong interpersonal and organisational skills, and experience in careers education.

Proficiency in Google and AI tools is required. The position is term-time only, Monday to Friday, 8.30am–1.30pm, commencing at the beginning of Term 1, 2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1–2 years experience in related field.
• Valid NZ Teacher Registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Guide students in Years 10–13 on future study and career opportunities.
• Support pathways planning across Years 7–13 with staff and families.
• Collaborate with tertiary institutions, employers and external providers.
• Utilise Google and AI tools to support guidance.
