Job summary
The University of Otago Student Health Services is seeking a part-time nurse to join a busy multidisciplinary team in Ōtepoti (Dunedin). The role focuses on high-quality nursing care for young adults, with flexible hours between 8:30am and 8:30pm and one late shift per week during semester time.
Applicants must be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand, hold an Annual Practising Certificate, and have indemnity insurance.
Qualifications
- Registered with Nursing Council of New Zealand with a valid Annual Practising Certificate.
- Evidence of indemnity insurance.
- Relevant nursing experience.
- Interest in care delivery for young adults.
- Collaborative, able to develop professional relationships.
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving.
- Clear written documentation for health purposes.
- Proficient with health software systems.
- Commitment to Te Tiriti O Waitangi to improve equity.
- Commitment to ongoing quality improvement.
Responsibilities
