Job summary

Health New Zealand is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for outpatient care at North Shore Hospital. This permanent, part-time role focuses on delivering patient-centred care in a multidisciplinary outpatient setting, supporting medical, orthopaedic, surgical, and women’s health clinics.

Shifts include Monday to Friday with no night shifts, and cross-site work at Waitakere Outpatients as needed. You will help manage a high-volume schedule and foster a positive patient experience while

Qualifications

• Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate.
• Experience or interest in post-operative wound care, cast care, and assisting with clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities throughout the day.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care and support to patients and whānau attending outpatient appointments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience.
• Support a variety of specialty clinics, including medical, orthopaedic, surgical, and women's health services.
• Contribute to a fast-paced outpatient environment with flexibility and teamwork.
