Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Student Surveyor intern to support spatial data collection and analysis for upcoming infrastructure projects in Auckland. You will transform data into actionable insights through mapping and digital tools while collaborating with teams across Asia Pacific and the Limelight early careers community.

You will learn from industry leaders, gain exposure to planning, design and delivery processes, and explore pathways into our Graduate Program during a 12-week full-time

Qualifications

• Currently studying a Bachelor of Surveying at the University of Otago.
• Currently studying GIS, Geospatial Science, or a related discipline.
• An interest in developing analytics, modeling and applying technical knowledge for infrastructure projects.
• A current license to drive in New Zealand.
• Available for 12 weeks full-time from mid-November 2026 to February 2027 (with a two-week break over Christmas and New Year).
• Curiosity, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support spatial data collection and measurement activities informing planning, design and delivery of infrastructure projects.
• Transform spatial data into meaningful insights through mapping, analysis, and digital solutions supporting client decision-making.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Asia Pacific.
