Job summary

ACH Consulting Engineers in Auckland is seeking an experienced Structural Revit Drafter/Modeler to join our collaborative team on a full-time basis. You will produce accurate structural drawings and 3D models from concept to construction documentation, owning the sets end to end.

You will work closely with structural engineers, coordinate with architectural and services docs, manage revisions, mentor junior drafters, and contribute to detailing and documentation efficiency.

Qualifications

• Several years' hands-on experience producing structural drawings in Revit, ideally in a New Zealand consulting engineering environment.
• A solid grasp of structural detailing practices and construction methods.
• An exacting eye for detail. You notice the stale revision, and the detail that won't build.
• The discipline to manage your own workload and priorities without being chased.
• Clear, considered communication with engineers, architects, and contractors alike.
• A warm, proactive approach. People enjoy working with you.

Responsibilities

ACH Consulting Engineers is looking for an experienced Structural Revit Drafter/Modeller to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a great opportunity for a meticulous drafter who takes real pride in a clean, correct, well-coordinated set, working on a varied workload of residential, commercial, and industrial projects alongside a supportive team of engineers and drafters.

About the role

Working closely with our structural engineers, you'll be responsible for producing accurate, well-coordinated structural drawings and models from concept through to construction documentation. You'll own your drawing sets end to end, set the standard for how they're checked and issued, contribute ideas on detailing and documentation efficiency, and mentor junior drafters. It's the kind of role where being thorough and being easy to work with both genuinely count. Some projects move quickly, so you'll need to judge when to raise a concern and when to push on.
