Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a Supplier Performance Manager in the Commercial Directorate to oversee the contract management lifecycle across a significant spend portfolio, ensuring suppliers deliver value, quality and outcomes for the health system.

This 18-month fixed-term role offers strategic leadership, working with Category Managers to monitor performance, turn data into decisions and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of experience in commercial roles, with a focus on contract and supplier performance.
• Strong analytical and financial skills, with the ability to interpret performance data and drive value.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience working in large, complex organisations—health or public sector experience is a plus.
