Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island is seeking a Range & Supply Manager for Gilmours South Island on an 18-month fixed-term basis. You’ll lead the commercial alignment of the South Island product range with the wider Gilmours offer, identifying supplier opportunities and delivering source-of-supply changes that protect profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience in range management, procurement, supply chain or merchandising, ideally within foodservice, wholesale or FMCG.
• Practical understanding of direct and distribution-centre supply, product ranging and lifecycle changes, and experience using Foodstuffs Exchange or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial alignment of the Gilmours range across both islands, maintaining local exceptions.
• Identify opportunities to leverage common suppliers and improve cost, margin and customer outcomes.
• Plan and execute source-of-supply changes, moving products to direct supply where practical.
• Partner with operations to sequence changes and maintain business continuity.
• Manage the commercial impact of range and supply decisions, including margin, stock, supplier terms and cost-to-serve.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to confirm supply arrangements, costs, timing and responsibilities.
• Execute approved range and supply changes in Foodstuffs Exchange and other systems.
• Track delivery of the transition plan, resolve issues and elevate risks.
• Maintain records of decisions, owners, changes and outcomes, aligning with Foodies Values and the Grocery Supply Code.
