Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island is seeking a Range & Supply Manager for Gilmours South Island on an 18-month fixed-term basis. You’ll lead commercial alignment of the product range and supplier changes across both islands to protect profitability while driving efficiency.

Collaborating with procurement, operations, national accounts, insights and suppliers, you’ll implement changes with strong commercial judgment, minimise trading disruption and keep the range profitable through the transition.

Qualifications

• Experience in range management, procurement, supply chain or merchandising.
• Practical understanding of direct and distribution-centre supply, lifecycle changes.
• Experience using Foodstuffs Exchange or similar product/supply systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial alignment of the Gilmours range across both islands; maintain local exceptions.
• Identify opportunities to leverage common suppliers and improve cost, margin and customer outcomes.
• Plan and execute source-of-supply changes, moving products to direct supply where practical.
• Partner with operations to sequence changes and ensure business continuity.
• Manage the commercial impact of range and supply decisions, including margin, stock and terms.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to confirm supply arrangements, costs and timing.
• Execute approved range and supply changes in Foodstuffs Exchange and other systems.
• Track delivery of the transition plan and elevate risks as needed.
• Maintain records of decisions and changes, in line with Foodies Values.
