Job summary

New Zealand Police seeks a permanent Portfolio Advisor to join the Investment Management team at Police National Headquarters, Wellington. This role supports portfolio delivery through data integrity, analysis and system/process improvements.

It is a Senior Individual Contributor/Emerging Leader level role, requiring collaborative leadership, a posture of continuous improvement and a commitment to professional development within portfolio or investment management.

Qualifications

• Experience leading in a collaborative environment and ability to influence at all levels.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a facilitative style.
• Tertiary qualification or equivalent in advisory and/or portfolio/investment management.
• Extensive experience in structured project/programme delivery or portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to planning, monitoring and delivery of the project portfolio with data integrity.
• Assists with governance documents and records in the PPM tool (Sentient).
• Maintains Enterprise Investment Pipeline data, reports status, risks and opportunities.
• Supports enterprise portfolio performance reporting and trend analysis.
• Builds relationships with Portfolio Support and delivery teams for informed decision-making.
