Job summary

Nomura Research Institute (NRI) is seeking a People & Culture Business Partner to collaborate with senior leaders, shape people strategies and drive organisational performance in NZ. You will balance legal compliance with employee experience while managing complex employee relations and workforce planning for the Planit line of business.

Working with a collaborative People & Culture team, you’ll influence decisions, implement key programs and contribute to growth and transformation across the NZ

Qualifications

• Experience partnering with senior leaders within a professional services, technology, consulting or complex corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment law and employment relations practices.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to connect people strategies to business outcomes.
• Ability to influence, coach and challenge leaders at all levels.
• Strong understanding of employee experience principles and their impact on engagement.
• Experience supporting organisational change, workforce planning and business transformation initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management, relationship-building and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability balancing risk, compliance and business needs.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using HRIS platforms and people analytics tools (Oracle Fusion desirable).

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to influence positive outcomes.
