• Lead the Commission's external communications strategy and media relations.
• Spot and manage emerging issues; advise on high-risk communications.
• Provide fast media support to the Minister's office (reactive lines, statements, briefing material).
• Build strong relationships with chief executives, senior leaders, agency comms teams and media; coach colleagues.
