Reserve Bank of New Zealand – Te Pūtea Matua is seeking an experienced Manager Strategy and Emerging Technology to shape the Bank's technology direction, lead AI initiatives, and drive the Technology, Data and Security strategy across the organisation.

You will guide architecture, governance, and roadmaps, champion emerging technologies, and lead Payments Modernisation and broader digital transformation to deliver strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior technology leadership experience in complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of emerging technologies, digital assets, payments, and AI.
• Proven ability to translate technology opportunities into business value.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and building high‑performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the Bank’s technology strategy and roadmaps.
• Lead architecture governance and design governance.
• Champion emerging technologies and AI-enabled business transformation.
