Job summary

New Zealand Treasury is seeking an Advisor to join the Communications and Engagement Team in the Enabling Services division on a permanent basis. You’ll work in a caring, collaborative environment, advancing your skills while contributing to a better tomorrow for all New Zealanders.

You will develop and implement communication plans, produce content across speeches, media releases and social channels, and support both internal and external engagement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering internal and external communications.
• Strong writing and editing skills for diverse audiences.
• Experience producing content across speeches, media releases, intranet stories, and social media.
• Excellent organisational and relationship management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and assist with communication strategies aligned to Treasury priorities.
• Produce high-quality content across channels including speeches, presentations, media releases, and social posts.
• Support communications activities across the team and Treasury.
• Support internal and external engagement activities.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure consistent and effective messaging.
