Job summary

The Warehouse Group in Auckland is seeking a Buyer who will own end-to-end buying, balancing creativity with commercial judgement to deliver compelling ranges and curated collections for Kiwi customers.

You will manage category performance, build strong supplier relationships, analyse sales and margin trends, and collaborate across Merchandise, Planning, Store Operations and Marketing to execute ranges seamlessly.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail buying role.
• Direct sourcing/private label experience highly desired.
• Strong analytical and financial skills.

Responsibilities

• Category management and end-to-end buying process.
• Analyze sales, stock and margins to maximise category performance.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships with local and global partners.
• Develop category strategies that maximise sales and profitability.
• Collaborate with Merchandise, Planning, Store Operations and Marketing to execute ranges across channels.
• Leverage data, customer insights and market trends to inform buying decisions.
