Job summary

The Treasury in Wellington seeks a Senior Analyst to contribute to a varied programme of public policy work, including economic, commercial, or regulatory policy advice. The role will leverage strong policy foundations and support senior leadership across the public sector.

With at least 4.5 years of policy experience, you will use your communication, leadership, relationship and analytical skills to deliver structured, timely advice and help raise living standards for New Zealanders.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in public sector policy.
• Experience with economic, commercial or regulatory policy advice is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, leadership, relationship and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a varied policy programme including stewardship of entity monitoring framework.
• Support stewardship of legislative and regulatory frameworks.
• Work on system enhancements aligned to government objectives.
